Commission Sales

CAMTECH are happy to offer a commission based sales system, with this scheme we sell your used equipment for you on a commission basis; this means you get more for your equipment, and is a preferable alternative for you to a straight purchase or part exchange. It also takes all the hassle out of selling your equipment as you will not have to endure people calling to your home, or having to advertise your items privately.

We have been offering this service for over 7 years, and have successfully sold many thousands of items on behalf of our customers, we are happy to take just one item or a whole collection, payment is made as soon as each individual item is sold.

Every item taken for sale on a commission basis is given a thorough health check, cleaned, and prepared for sale by us. At this point we would contact you and discuss the maximum price we would expect to get for the item, of course taking your wishes into account, it is after all in your, and our interest to get a good price for your equipment.

Our commission charge is 20% and for this we will advertise your equipment on our website, and in our Amateur Photographer advert every week. For the more collectable or unusual items we regularly attend camera collector fairs such as Photographica in London and this has proven to be very successful over the past years.

We will continue to do all of the above until your items have sold.

All credit card charges are accounted for by us on any purchase.

We are always happy to give an approximate valuation over the phone.

We will guarantee your equipment for 1 year. (This gives prospective purchaser’s confidence in buying from CAMTECH).

A unique factor in our efforts to sell your equipment, is that we will only accept 1 of each item for sale on a commission basis. This means that you are not competing against the same items belonging to other customers that are for sale.

We are able to arrange insured collection of any volume of equipment from virtually anywhere in the world from your own home or work.

We have a reputation of selling only Mint or very near to Mint items, most of which are boxed.
